JKSSB Chairman thanks District Administration & Compliments Officers for successful conduct of Computer based Written Test (CBT) Examination for the posts of Junior Assistant, Cadrex Clerk, Casher, Jr Assistant /Computer-cum-Jr Assistant/ Clerk/Store Attendant and Welfare Organizer


Srinagar, Jan 24: The Computer Based Written Test (CBT) Examination for 1543 posts of Junior Assistant, Cadrex Clerk, Casher, Jr. Assistant /Computer-cum-Jr. Assistant/ Clerk/Store Attendant and Welfare Organizer, UT Cadre, Divisional Cadres and various Districts cadres, advertised vide Advertisement Notification Nos 04, 05, 06 and 07 of 2020 and 01, 02 and 03 of 2021, culminated successfully. 


 

The CBT Examination was conducted on 20.01.2022, 21.01.2022 at 18 venues and on 24.01.2022 at 23 venues, in Jammu, Kathua, Srinagar, Budgam & Baramulla districts. Pertinently,    14423  unique candidates were scheduled to take aforesaid CBT, out of which 14000 unique candidates appeared in the aforesaid CBT examination which culminated today on 24th January, 2022. 


Further, 02 venues were specifically setup for all such candidates who had tested COVID positive.   Dedicated medical teams equipped with Priority Medical Devices, specifically surgical masks, non-surgical masks, gloves, face shields, gowns, N95 masks, thermal scanners etc. were deployed for ensuring adherence to COVID – 19 protocols at the designated Examination Venues in Jammu & Srinagar.


 

 Adequate security arrangements were put in place at each Examination Centre. The concerned District Magistrates had issued Prohibitory Orders under section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) around the Examination Centres during the timing of examination. In addition, to ensure transparency and fairness during the examination process, the CBT was conducted under CCTV surveillance.


Besides, a multi layered structure for supervision was established with one Examination Observers appointed by General Administration Department and Centre Observer and Centre Magistrate deployed by concerned District Magistrate & Invigilatory staff deployed by service provider, for each Examination Centre.  The J&K Police had also deployed security personnel for frisking and maintenance of law and order at each venue/ location.


 


 The JKSSB had also deployed Liaison Officers/ District Observer(s) for each venue/location in order to oversee the arrangements, coordination with various stakeholders and real-time redressal of issues, if any, at examination venues.


The JKSSB thanked all role partners for their enormous cooperation especially Divisional Commissioner(s) Kashmir/Jammu, Deputy Commissioner(s), Director Health Services Kashmir/Jammu, Senior Superintendents of Police, Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla, Jammu & Kathua and SSP Security Kashmir/Jammu, along-with their teams for extending full cooperation to the JKSSB in the smooth and transparent conduct of this exercise. The Officers/ Officials of JKSSB associated with the conduct of CBT were also complimented by the Chairman JKSSB for their valuable role in the smooth conduct of exaOrganizer
